Winter Lamp Speed Painting

Winter Lamp Speed Painting

I had the urge to paint something tonight, but I didn’t want to make something that was going to take more than a night to complete, so I decided to do a speed painting.

Wikipedia.org says:

Speed Painting is an exercise, primarily digital, in which one paints on a time budget, using already developed methods to create a piece. Speed Painting is a widely used term in the Entertainment industry, often amongst Concept Artists.

With that said, here is my concept. Don’t ask why I painted a modern lamp in the middle of no where, but that’s what I saw in my head. I tried to make this as detailed as possible in a 30 minute time frame. Hopefully as I do more of these I can start to get more details in with better colors. I only used 7 colors in this. I think I should have used more, but this is the outcome of 30 minutes.
